Quick note to non-players: PvP means player-vs-player, i.e. combat between players; as opposed to PvE, player-vs-environment, which is combat against monsters, or PvS, player-vs-spouse, which happens on weekend nights when your partner doesn't understand why you want to spend 12 hours raiding the Plane of Evil Clowns.
